PocketFlow Pty Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through PocketFlow Pro ("Software") and how we use it. This policy complies with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

1. Information We Collect

The Software communicates with our servers solely for license validation. During this process, the following data is transmitted:

• Your license key
• A hardware fingerprint — an anonymous, one-way hash derived from your machine's characteristics. This hash cannot be reversed to identify your hardware specifications.
• Software version information

We do NOT collect:

• Your name, email address, or other personal contact details (beyond what you provide when purchasing a license)
• Simulation data, project files, or any user-generated content
• Usage analytics, telemetry, or browsing activity
• IP addresses (beyond what is inherent in any network request)

2. How We Use Your Information

The information above is used exclusively to:

• Verify that your license key is valid and active
• Enforce single-user, single-machine license terms
• Detect unauthorised use or distribution of license keys

We do not use this information for marketing, profiling, or any purpose other than license management.

3. Data Storage and Security

License validation data is stored on servers located in Australia. We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. Hardware fingerprints are stored as irreversible hashes and cannot be used to reconstruct information about your hardware.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to third parties, except where required by law, regulation, or court order, or to service providers who assist in operating our license validation infrastructure under confidentiality obligations.

5. Data Retention

We retain license validation data for the duration of your license term plus twelve (12) months after expiry or termination, after which it is deleted.

6. Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Lodge a complaint about our handling of your information

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Updated versions will be included with Software updates and posted on our website. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
